🎙Founder Stories : Robert’s Startup journey as the founder of DataGrab

May started with a bang 💥. Emily and I spent 2 weeks in London talking through our next steps, and how we plan to help founders with marketing and mental health.

As we continue to build out our founder community, we also stepped up our marketing efforts. This allowed us to achieve the highest monthly revenue more than 2x our previous highest revenue 🚀

On the show today, I will be catching up with non-other than the founder of DataGrab, and one of our partners Robert Balazsi . DataGrab is a B2B web scraping cloud platform designed to build web scrapers without writing a single line of code 😲

I’m looking forward to learning how Startups and Small Businesses (SMBs) are using DataGrab to build no-code web scrapers at scale.

40 cold email subject line examples guaranteed to get opened

As the founders of Prelo we have to wear multiple hats. I am the “sales guy”, Emily is our recruitment person with some marketing thrown in, and we deal with everything else in between. What’s clear for me is this…  there’re often times when we’ve had to reach out to strangers to help us achieve a goal.🏆

To do that, we both had to learn how to craft and send cold emails. What we figured out was this, cold emails need to lead with an offer. Our main goal was to make our cold emails a frictionless interaction.

Yes, over 4 billion people are using email, it’s one of the easiest, safest, most affordable, and effective ways of connecting with people. Despite being one of the oldest forms of electronic communication, email marketing still gets some of the best results compared to other more modern techniques.

That’s why we use cold emails to reach out and connect with our prospects. 🤝

🎙Founder Stories : Edward’s Startup journey as the founder of Go For Vertical

A staggering 90% of Startups fail, and 45% of them fail because there’s no need for the product. Finding a steady stream of customers interested in buying your product requires more than just a good product.

It requires good marketing, and most of us founders suck at this. 😏

As founders we don’t employ marketing early enough in our Startup journey. We’d rather wait until we’ve spent 12 months building the tech or $150,000 on development teams. 💳

…but there’s a 10x cheaper alternative, and Go For Vertical is that solution.

6 Funny memes to help Startup founders prioritize marketing!

I’m a 2x founder who failed with my first SaaS Startup, I did zero marketing myself. This blog was exactly what I needed when I was busy building product features🙄 . The reality was, I should have spent more time marketing my Startup.

Most people aren’t too comfortable with marketing and that’s why we created Prelo to help founders and product makers put themselves out there.

Easy growth tips for startup founders building on Twitter

So here’s the thing, in May 2021 we didn’t have Prelo, I was busy getting over the failure of my previous Startup where we had tried everything, nursed it for 2yrs adding features and hoping it would sell itself. 🙄

We had to switch it off at the end of May, but by early June, I’d embarked on a new shiney adventure. I’d started building Prelo 😎 with the same team.
